Both ten-year-old Jason and his sister Kimberli have disabilities. Jason has never been able to walk—so unless he was carried by one of his parents, he’s had to sit and watch the world go by. Neither sibling has ever attended school.

They came to our Wheels for the World™ outreach hoping to get the wheelchair Jason desperately needed. But God had even more in store! Through Joni and Friends, Jason was hand-fitted for his first pediatric wheelchair, and his family received a Bible in their language.

Special education teachers also discovered the children's capabilities and introduced Kimberli to sign language. Our team taught their parents exercises and connected the family with resources to continue Jason and Kimberli's education, all offered in the name of Jesus.
